Who operates this site

TravAuction is operated by Preferred Guest Resorts, LLC. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Preferred Guest Resorts, LLC, and "you" means the person using the site.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the site. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account, including the email address, and for keeping your password to yourself. One person should hold one account.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used to interfere with the site, to misrepresent who is behind it, or to break these terms.

How auctions and price claims work

Each listing is published with its own timeframe and with a series of price tiers. A tier has a price and a number of places. As places in a tier are taken, the ladder moves. When you claim, you take the next available place at the price shown at that moment. Prices and places are set by us and can change while a listing is live.

A claim is an offer to take that place at that price. Nothing is final until it is confirmed and any amount due is settled under the process below.

What happens at the end of an auction

When a listing ends, the place is held for a short period for the person who claimed it to complete the next step. We contact you at the email address on your account. If the place is not taken up in that period it may be released and offered to somebody else.

Where a listing has a reserve, the reserve is stated on the listing. A place is only confirmed once the reserve position for that listing is satisfied.

This is not a payment transaction

No charge is being made on this site today. We do not take payment through this website and we do not process card transactions here. Nothing on this site should be read as us accepting a payment.

If you see a place to enter card details, those details are being collected to hold your position and to prepare for the step that follows. Completion of a booking, payment for it, and delivery or redemption happen separately, after the auction, under the process we send you. The prices shown on listings are the published amounts for the claims they describe, not a charge made now.

Limits and disclaimers

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and listings can change or be withdrawn. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the matter in question.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing here affects the rights you have as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Preferred Guest Resorts, LLC maintains its principal place of business, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting your right to bring a claim where you live.
